starting a wedding blog...

Well, I thought it would be fun to start a wedding blog so everyone could see what's going on and how all the planning is coming along! Life is so so busy right now but I'm still finding time to work on wedding stuff, and it helps that my mom and Megan are pushing me saying, "WHAT'S NEXT? WHAT CAN I HELP YOU WITH?"

So far we have our venue picked out, Nolte Farms, http://www.noltefarms.com/ and they take care of the food and setup. We're having our ceremony and reception here, so that makes things simple. It's located right on the Guadalupe River and is the most perfect place to get married for us! It has so much natural beauty that it won't take too much to make it shine!

I have also already purchased my dress, which I completely love (that's a good thing right?), it's Diamond White and made by Sophia Tolli, but that's all I can tell for now!

Ray has already picked out his tux and all the guys tuxes too! Ray will be wearing Diamond White alongside me and the rest of the boys will be wearing chocolate brown tuxedos from Men Warehouse.

We have our DJ booked, Daryll Stewart, who is an amazing guy I've known for a while. I actually met him when I was shooting a wedding and he is super talented! I cannot wait for him to get the party started at the reception!

Our photographers seem great too, they are Old World Studios based out of Austin. Maggie and Robert are a husband-wife duo who shoot together and I love their website, so I'm putting my faith in them!

Randy Brian, our pastor from Fellowship of San Marcos is going to be marrying us. Ray and I grew our relationship at FOSM and would not ever consider anyone to marry us but Randy. He is such a huge spiritual leader for Ray and I!

We still need... flowers, cake, bridemaid dresses, table decor, invitations & programs!
The bachelorette, bachelor, and bridal showers also still need to be planned.

We're getting there, slow and steady wins the race! Good night for now!
